Meiji Shrine was built in 1920 and rebuilt after the World War II and now located in a park right next to Tokyo’s Yoyogi park. The Shrine is dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken. The Meiji Shrine is visited by a number of visitors every year and a numerous festivals and events are usually taken part at the shrine.
5. Hara Museum of Contemporary Art

Hara Museum of Contemporary Art is the first museum of contemporary art in Japan and also the country’s oldest museum. Most of the arts exhibited here are paintings and sculptures by foreigners and locals from the 1950s and 1960s. Some famous artists who created his work at this precious museum are Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Claes Oldenburg, Jackson Pollock, Karel Appel, Robert Rauschenberg, and Frank Stella.
